Tutor: Jim Carey is a film sound designer and audio mixer. He’s designed and mixed sound for numerous films, documentaries, trailers and adverts. Nominated for a Golden Reel in 2011 for his work as Head of Sound on the Oscar-nominated feature doc Exit Through The Gift Shop, he also sound designed the movie trailer for The Lone Ranger, and produced music for The Simpsons. Jim is an experienced and engaging teacher of his art too, having run numerous courses and masterclasses at venues like the Roundhouse (London), University of Sussex and L'Ecole d'Theatre (Paris).
